Short Family

JANUARY 2017

No, this isn’t referring to their stature, but their last name is Short. We have known Marie for many years, originally connecting through the Lions AFL club, where we were members and Marie works in their administration section. Receptionist, cheerleader organiser and general all-round supporter.
Marie, her daughter Tracey, and grandson Brock headed up from Brisbane on New Years day for a quick four-night holiday. We tried so hard to have our renovated guest accommodation finished but it was not to be, so air mattresses on the floor had to be the sleeping arrangements. Out on the boat and stinking hot but seemed like the rain showers were kind enough to fall whilst we were motoring (no wind) and eased off once we got to our destinations. We managed to get to Butterfly Bay, Whitehaven beach and Hamilton Island.
