Hi All

This is our blog about making the transition from ‘living to work’ to ‘living the dream’.

Knowing that there was more to life than work, and a desire to see more of the world, led us to think more closely at ‘where” and ‘what’ questions. Our decision to get back on the water, saw us investigate various locations along the Queensland coast but ultimately, we couldn’t go past the beautiful Whitsundays, so Airlie Beach became our new home in 2016.

We started this as a way of being able to look back in years to come on this wonderful time and to share our experiences with friends and family.

 

Our family consists of:

Steve- An import from England who has been ‘certified’ an Australian, and who spent a career in the fire services across ACT, QLD and NT before retiring.

Jennie – A born and bred Queenslander who roamed up and down the Queensland coast in retail and pharmaceutical management in Queensland and Northern Territory.

 

Maddy- The miniature schnauzer who ruled the house, boat and us but who has since passed on.
